*PLOT* “Scooby Doo” is certainly now one of my accepted movies of all time! The dwelling is all familiar with all people; a team breaks up only at the kill to work together to set aside the world (or something like that) . But that region never seems to accept frail since “Scooby Doo” is incredibly fun to contemplate! The teen music is lovely wintry to listen to, too!

*ACTING* The acting is objective ravishing to glimpse! Since I’ve seen many of the Scooby Doo cartoons, it was so remarkable fun to peruse all the actors and actresses playing the cartoon characters to perfection! Probably I was most impressed with Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, his boom was exactly the same as in the cartoon and even his actions and expressions were perfect! But of course all the characters were terrific, even the computer dog Scooby.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Scooby-Doo! Click Here

*GRAPHICS AND ACTION* The computer graphics were radiant, from the spooky ghosts to the scary creatures, and we mustn’t forget the lovable Scooby! Plenty of action at the raze, too. My current action scenes are, 1) Daphne showing her original martial arts skills and 2) Fred’s plahing around comes in handy as he handles a bunch of dreadful guys.

*HUMOR* But of course the best thing about the movie is the incredibly amusing humor! None of the jokes are hard to fetch while there is some slapstick humor. But of course the movie is rated PG because of some humor.

So, build it all together and we have a very arresting movie! I honest cannot wait for “Scooby Doo” to near out on DVD! And, if the rumors are lawful, I’m looking forward to “Scooby Doo 2″!

The key to enjoying SCOOBY DOO is not to examine too powerful. The producers have billed the film as half hommage, half parody; in truth, it isn’t really finish enough to the current cartoon to be called hommage and it really doesn’t go far enough to be called parody, and as usual Hollywood makes the mistake of trying to veil up the script’s inadequacies with big-budget production values and expensive but actually so-so special effects. All the same, the film does have its moments. The myth finds Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy splitting up due to ego conflicts–and then being unexpectedly reunited when the owner of a teen resort called “Spooky Island” invites them in to salvage out why his guests near as normal teens and then move as, well, ZOMBIES.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Scooby-Doo! Click Here

The script is fairly mundane, but it does have a few zingers, as when Velma says “Let’s glean jinky with it!” And although the cast is a mixed bag, they work hard to bring it off. Freddie Prinze is wildly miscast as Fred and Sarah Michelle Gellar is not an ideal Daphne, but they play with titanic energy; Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini, however, are so lifeless on target with their performances that they acquire an astonishing sense of deja vu. As for Scooby Doo, he is (of course) a computerized animation. And so are most of the monsters the gang encounters on Spooky Island. Although it works reasonably well, it isn’t anything to write home about.

I would recommend that parents preview the film before unleashing it upon their kids; some younger children may be timid by the monsters. The DVD comes with a number of extras that include some prick scenes–and they offer an provocative incompatibility with the film, for they are very satirical. Seeing them left me with the feeling that the film would have been noteworthy more consuming if those scenes had been left in and the whole thing had been done with the same bite. As it is–SCOOBY DOO is neither a titanic film nor a memorable film. But we’re all occasionally in the mood for some mindless fluff, and it fills that niche very well indeed.

This is an absolutely extraordinary movie. I have watched it again and again. It seems to be one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen, yet it was a very gracious frail fashioned, innocent, and more professional humor than most other comedies. I deem it is a work of art and should be added to DVD format. Being that remarkable of my family is German, Gert Fröbe was my accepted character. A laughable and warm resemblance of the Prussian gentleman of the time. All the national characters were amusing too. Terry Thomas was incredible and gave me plenty of laughs. The Frenchmen and the Italian (Emilio) were astronomical too. You will unbiased feel naturally happier after you gaze this movie. Don’t even hesitate to rob it!

Finally! The 20th Century-Fox 1965 roadshow extravaganza comes to DVD. The movie looks noble in what must be a transfer from a restored 70mm print. On my 16X9 HDTV in progressive scan the images are quite lovely for a film of this vintage. The Dolby Digital 5.0 remastering of the unusual 6-track magnetic soundtrack is also a joy to the ears. This is an former entertainment for the entire family. Thanks to its presentation on this fresh DVD the movie is once again a large experience. The extras are extensive for such a moderately priced DVD too. Director Ken Annakin provides an inspiring commentary track and appears in a unusual featurette. Somebody at Fox definately loves this movie, one that is a childhood popular of mine. I saw it in its recent release, and also in a 1969 reissue as allotment of a double feature with Fox’s “Planet of the Apes.” “The Perfect Mates” the ads said, “Apes and Men.” Studios fair don’t don’t do things like that anymore. Anyway, this DVD is a joy!

Some folks judge “The Wild One” the first movie about outlaw bikers; it’s not. “The Wild One” is about 50s beatniks who happen to tool around on British bikes (except Lee Marvin, the best thing about the movie) . If you want the staunch thing, Hells Angels on Harleys, then “The Wild Angels” is the one. This is the movie that started the genre, so most of the cliches seen in subsequent drive in relate note biker features started here.

Watching THE WILD ANGELS (1966) recently for the first time in over two decades, I was struck by how much and relevant it detached seems. Unlike some of the more starry-eyed counterculture films of the slow 1960s, this one captured quite vividly the nihilism of the era and the black side of the 1960s. The first film about the Hell’s Angels motorcycle club and initiator of a short-lived but favorite biker film craze, it presents its Harley-riding characters as cases of arrested development, unable to cope in the adult world, who have managed to fabricate their absorb social class of outcasts, drunks, losers and misfits. (The accurate Hell’s Angels sued the filmmakers for defamation of character.) The film avoids blatant moralizing, but simply shows the Angels’ erratic behavior, contrasting the brutality, misogyny and pot- and alcohol-induced hedonism of the men with the occasional bursts of empathy and self-awareness shown by their female partners. In fact, one of the most compelling aspects of the film today is the work of the four main actresses, Nancy Sinatra, Diane Ladd, Gayle Hunnicutt and Joan Shawlee, neither of whom, on first gawk, would seem to belong in such a film. But they all strive to manufacture their characters plausible, believable and human, even in the most demeaning circumstances, and add emotional layers that distinguish the film from its numerous imitators. Also worth singling out is Peter Fonda’s portrayal of Blues, the Angels’ nominal leader, whose dawning realization of his acquire tragic blunders provides the just heart of the film.

Also striking about the film today is its depiction of a thoroughly desolate Southern California landscape far from Los Angeles. We contemplate the working-class backwater districts of places like San Pedro and Venice Beach; remote desert towns mired in poverty; long, endless highways leading nowhere; and, finally, a town high in the mountains, with woods and snow, where the Angels go to bury one of their number. Some of the wanton behavior in distinct scenes seems draw over the top today and was clearly added to the film for its sensational and exploitation value, but such scenes are balanced by many more that dramatize, in stark terms, the desperation of people who feel they have no choices and no hopes. It remains one of director Roger Corman’s strongest works.

This is in my thought one of Wes Craven’s worst films, but even having said that, it smooth makes for a resplendent fun stare. The sage hear is basically the same except that now, we have a dirtbike racing team to remove the region of the family in the first film. When the racing teams bus break’s down, hell ensues, as Pluto and the newly introduced “reaper” indulge in some grisly killing.

The dvd itself is nowhere arrive the quality I would have liked. The represent is overly grainy, and I noticed a “shimmer”, for lack of a better word, throughout the course of the fim. All in all the recount quality is that of an dilapidated vhs rental copy. I would not recommend purchasing this dvd unless you are like me and are a die-hard “The hills have eyes” fan.

Although many reviewers didn’t like the second piece of the “Hills”, I peaceful wouldn’t call it “one of the worst sequels ever” or “the worst Wes Craven film”. Certainly this is not a masterpiece, even in the framework of awe genre, but I don’t sight why it should be worse than any other slasher flick. When I was watching it, I came to a conclusion early Wes Craven had been imitating other directors rather often. I’m not saying he was not novel at all – eventually he shot “A Nightmare on Elm Street” in 1984. But “The Hills Have Eyes” were reminiscent of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and in the beginning of 80s, when slasher era started, I guess Craven decided to manufacture something in the same manner. Maybe the reason was Craven’s long-time buddy Sean Cunningham created “Friday the 13th” in 1980, and Wes was envious? :) Anyway the second allotment of “The Hills Have Eyes” turned out to be a pure slasher like many others at that time. And it obviously wasn’t the worst and in many ways was like above mentioned “Friday the 13th”: the gather was written by Harry Manfredini, known to every “Friday” fan, and the music in “Hills 2″ is objective like in early “Fridays”. The body count increased comparing to the first piece and approached a regular slasher movie. Kevin Blair who had a leading male share here, would star in “Friday the 13th section VII” a couple of years later along with Kane Hodder, who did stunts for “The Hills Have Eyes 2″ and in “Friday” would play you know whom.

Of course here we can glimpse some stupidities as in other slasher movies (like characters wandering in night all alone instead of sticking together, all the large strong guys glean killed, and a handicapped girl survives – I’m not even considering it as a spoiler for it is distinct from the very beginning, especially if you’ve seen a couple of awe films in your life), but is that a dilemma for a upright dread fan? We’ve learned not to engage this trivia into anecdote.

So I judge “The Hills Have Eyes 2″ managed on many levels, and it would be tantalizing to have it in your collection, if you have the first one. For they are two totally different films talking about the subgenres of awe.

This wonderful if ultimately frustrating production fuses two motifs familiar from earlier Visconti works: the historical spectacular (Senso, The Leopard) and the family saga (La Terra trema, Rocco and His Brothers) . But there almost any similarity with the director’s early films ceases altogether. The Damned is history as Walpurgisnacht, focusing upon the peripeties of a German family of industrialists-evidently modeled upon the Krupps–whose secret repository of vices gives novel meaning to the stock phrase “skeleton in the closet”. On the eve of the Reichstag fire, the Von Essenbecks, owners of an significant steel factory with cessation stale ties to the military, score to celebrate the birthday of the family patriarch, Joachim (Albrecht Schoenhals) .

The heir to the dynasty is the ravishing, amoral Martin (Helmut Berger), the only child of Joachim’s son who has died in World War I and the ravishing, unscrupulous Baroness Sophie Von Essenbeck (Ingrid Thulin) . Sophie is enamored of the ambitious Friedrich Bruckmann (Dirk Bogarde), and plans to exercise her son as a pawn to promote Friedrich’s rise to power as head of the family business. Yet Sophie, in spite of her passionate admire for Friedrich, is pathologically attached to Martin, who in turn has a psychopathic attraction to slight girls. To guarantee the Nazis’ control of the steel works, Friedrich conspires with the diabolical SS officer Aschenbach (Helmut Griem) in the killing of archaic Joachim, and later in the assassination of Martin’s uncle Konstantin (Rene Koldehoff) during a homosexual orgy of SA followers on the Night of the Long Knives. But Friedrich’s petty Machiavellian schemes to arrive his absorb personal fortunes are readily outmatched by the agreeable cunning and ruthlessness of the Mephistophelean Nazis with whom he has sealed his Faustian pact.

It would be an understatement to recount The Damned as oppressive. One of the standard conventions of older Italian films about fascism had been to pit bestial Nazis against numerically rank but morally great adversaries-the prototype is Roberto Rossellini’s Originate City. However, in this movie the forces of substandard seem invincible. The film concludes-after Friedrich and Sophie have been forced to commit suicide following their nuptials-with images of a blast furnace: history being transformed into an inferno by the power of the total area.

Visconti further reinforces the pervasive mood of suffocation, an asphyxia nearly as remarkable physical as good and political, with a beautiful utilize of color mise en scène, emphasizing brown, dusky, and red shades, brilliantly realized by his directors of photography, Pasqualino De Santis and Armando Nannuzzi. Ever since shooting Senso, the director had shown a sensitivity to the expressive possibilities of color, but here he really outdid himself, without ever falling into the pictorialism that mars The Leopard as well as Death in Venice, and even more Ludwig. (Anyone who writes a book on the history of color cinematography one day will have to devote an entire chapter to Visconti.)

In his early films, Visconti seemed as great rooted in the 19th century as D.W. Griffith, Charlie Chaplin, or John Ford, a committed leftist who nevertheless owed as great to the humanistic realism of Alessandro Manzoni as to the economic and political doctrines of Karl Marx. But his career underwent a mutation in the1960s, signs of which are more evident in the febrile Sandra (1965), with its incestuous brother-sister relationship, than in the pallid, pious adaptation of Albert Camus’ The Stranger (1967) . The current, apocalyptically charged title of The Damned is La Caduti degli dei or The Descend of the Gods, an allusion to the final opera in The Ring of the Nibelung, bringing in both Richard Wagner-one of the spiritual godfathers of Nazism-as well as Wagner’s vision of a fiery consummation of human history in the conflagration of Valhalla.

Yet Visconti’s world ends in The Damned neither with a bang nor a whimper, but a fascist travesty of the heritage of European civilization, from art of venerable times down to the German cinema of the 1920s and 1930s. In this regard, the movie adopts the overtly deconstructive stance of postmodernism towards the past by showing how once viable cultural traditions can be corrupted and thus irretrievably lost. More of an allegory out of Sigmund Freud or Wilhelm Reich than a historical record, The Damned does not at all select up where The Leopard stopped, but anticipates in both dramatic strategy and style Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange, which in a memorable sequence juxtaposes the choral finale of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony-already made grotesque by being performed on a synthesizer-with images of Adolf Hitler strutting before his rapt admirers extracted from Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Damned! Click Here

In my occupy conception, Visconti was one of the tall directors in the history of the cinema, but The Damned is an agonistic work rather than an accomplished one, the recount of an artist’s struggle with his absorb personal demons. Aloof, The Damned is far more impressive than any of Bernardo Bertolucci’s psychosexual exercises in interpreting history-not to mention a rebuke to such Fellini psychedelic schlock as Julietta of the Spirits or Satyricon–and Visconti got invaluable succor from his cast, especially Ingrid Thulin and Dirk Bogarde, although some viewers may have a dilemma with Helmut Berger as the epicene Martin. Warner Home Video asks quite a stiff brand for this tape, which does not seem to me wholly justified. The characterize quality is adequate in copies I have seen, but this version is the R rated one, missing some footage deleted to change the fresh X-the IMDb gives the Italian running time as 155 minutes– and the aspect ratio is not 1.85 letterbox as it should be, but stout conceal television.

Directed by Luchino Visconti in 1969 (during a period of exceptional fecundity of controversial and political films) this film stars Dirk Bogard, Ingrid Thulin and Helmut Berger. This trio has an fabulous energy which allows for distinguished and sparkling tableaus throughout the film. But also these actors become an ingenious perceive in themselves of the already corrupted middle and upper class German life; They are mere refuse from Germany’s now dying Weimar Republic.

The narrative begins in the first year of Hitler’s modern Germany, and extends through mid 1934, peaking at Hitler’s betrayal and massacre of his absorb idealistic and true SA troops headed by Ernst Rhome, a man he had loved.

The primary myopia and self-aggrandizing nature of these ruthless Nazi military capitalists (the trio and their cohorts), blends well with their all pervasive lack of edifying morality. This upper crust elite, abetted by the already effective propaganda machine former by the Nazi party, paints a gleaming portrait of Germany’s first year adjustment and committment to the fascist region.

Hauntingly revealing of the nature of creature human’s ability to not know what s/he knows. Not unlike today and the average person’s minimal buy of fair what the military industrial complex is doing within this Country as well as outside this Country.

Visconti’s sets are often authentic structures or painstakingly exaggerated replications. To increase the drama and sheer size of these sets, some were built with walls slanting inward to agument their big size. The costumes are detailed, comely and clarify enough to add to the already dramatic legend and fanciful sets.

This film is worthwhile viewing if for no other reason than to behold the young Helmut Berger in his debut as a character of obscene complexity, wicked and deviousness. As a young Nazi, blond and fair, he easily reflects the modern Germany he is supposed to picture. Visconti’s “The Damned” is a film that is as contemporary with human lesson and meaning today as it would have been had it actually been made in Germany in 1933 and 1934.

I’ve seen this movie only once, and only a couple of days ago, but details are becoming vaguer and vaguer in my mind. This is never a righteous designate. It was watchable, definitely, and it generated a very strong, surreal atmosphere throughout the first half, but it fails to go anywhere terribly consuming, and gets increasingly dreary as the film goes along. It’s smooth worth seeing if you’re a fan of Dario Argento, but if you aren’t there are a helluva lot of others films you need to leer first.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Stendhal Syndrome! Click Here

The film stars Asia Argento as a detective on the track of a serial rapist/murderer, who becomes the victim said criminal shortly after she is succumbs to the Stendhal Syndrome.(i.e. a strong physical reaction to a allotment of art. Fainting is the symptom in her case) There’s not grand of a plot-arc here, as after the setup it is honest sort of a portrait of her life, as she takes a turn for the nutty after her experience, and is again victimized by the collected at-large killer. Worthy of the early film is quite compelling, as Asia lives in a world somewhere between reality in fantasy, where she walks in and out of paintings, accompanied by Ennio Morricone’s repetitive and haunting collect. However, the more surreal aspects of the film are de-emphasized in the latter portions, and are, sadly, not replaced by increased situation development or action. And, even the effective earlier portions tends to be less effective than his Dario’s best work. My spot with the second half is probably heightened by the fact that I stumbled across what happens at the ruin of the film before actually viewing it. However, this is accurate of most of the Argento films I’ve seen, and none of the others have faultered in the latter portions to nearly the same extent. Beyond this, the hints as to the conclusion of the film are so incredibly blatant that I suspect most viewers will have no worry figuring it out long before the ending, though I certainly couldn’t say for definite.(I’m also perhaps a bit influenced some of the reviews I’ve read before hand, which said that it started radiant strong but got plain by the second half. But I kinda doubt this effected me too mighty. There impartial isn’t anything of interest going on in most of the second half of the film.)

Many people have talked about how disturbing the rape-scenes in this film are. Personally I’m not affected by them great. I guess this is because rape is, presumably, most disturbing and painful from a psychological standpoint, and I honest can’t connect that draw. But, lots of people are disquieted by them, so judge yourself warned. This is a different sort of thriller than most of Argento’s most eminent work, so there is less of an emphasis on the fright set-piece. What this comes down to is that there aren’t any really effective fear or violence related scenes in the film. Most horribly, they employ some absolutely ugly computer animation for some gore and other visual effects. If you can’t afford decent CGI, don’t employ it, for God’s sake!

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Stendhal Syndrome! Click Here

The acting is a mixed bag, as usual. Asia is acceptable, if not extraordinary, other than in the scenes where she is supposed to be ‘tough’ which she can’t pull of at all. The rapist is graceful well-behaved too, very creepy while peaceful seeming more or less human. No one else in the film is reliable of particular mention.

As many have said, the DVD does peep rather crappy, though it isn’t quite as poor as I’d imagined considering unprejudiced how maligned it is.(It’s not far off, however) Level-headed, if you’re expecting something like the various Anchor Bay releases of Dario Argento’s films your gonna be in for a execrable surprise.

Definitely subpar, but with enough effective aspects to earn it worth checking out, it you’re into this sort of stuff.

THE STENDHAL SYNDROME

[La Sindrome di Stendhal]

(Italy – 1995)

Aspect ratio: 1.66:1

Theatrical soundtrack: Dolby Digital

Quite unlike anything Dario Argento has directed before, THE STENDHAL SYNDROME is a grimly realistic portrait of a female police officer (Asia Argento, essentially miscast) whose encounters with a sadistic rapist/serial killer (Thomas Kretschmann) have devastating consequences. Though renowned by some truly horrific violence, played straight by Argento with few of his trademark stylistic flourishes, the film is grand too languid for its absorb great, wasting a lot of significant time on an otherwise laudable attempt to depict the long-term consequences of a vicious sexual assault on the central character. Furthermore, the harsh subject matter allows no room for levity, and the austere scenario is at odds with the sumptuous artwork that acts as a catalyst for the murderous proceedings. Asia’s convulsive reactions to works of art (hence the ornate title) makes her a target for Kretschmann’s psychopathic killer, allowing Argento to enjoy the conceal with paintings, sculptures and elegant objet d’art, which offsets the film’s acquire lack of visual flair.

But there’s a fierce intelligence underpinning the somewhat predictable scenario: When Asia de-emphasizes her femininity in response to the initial attack, only to re-establish her womanhood after a second assault in which she emerges the victor (or does she? ), it becomes easier to forgive the painfully definite surprises which clog up the final quarter. Only one scene recalls the best of Argento’s work: A potential victim being stalked through a dimly lit room elephantine of oversized marble statues, a brilliantly edited sequence which suggests everything and reveals nothing. Overall, “Stendhal” may not be vintage Argento, but it’s too clever and too unsettling to be easily dismissed, and it gets under the skin like no other terror film in unusual memory. Search For it and execute up your contain mind.

Def Poetry is an lively HBO series that is far from a regular poetry reading. These poets all have a fresh style of poetry. They hit the stage and urge through their monologue like they are seasoned stage performers and some have the presence of actors and comediennes. Always mixing things up, the poets that hit the stage are of all races. In episode one an Asian poet hits the stage and runs through a monologue about the Asian run. White men and women hit the stage as well as African-American poets. This poetic melting pot is a groundbreaking note because the poets have the freedom to yell themselves with petite boundaries as it seems no topic is off limits. At any moment you can witness a poet talking about hasten issues, sexuality, infidelity, abortion, abuse, issues of the day, politics, and of course 9-11. Curse words are not bleeped, being that this is a cable series, the poets pick up wild. The most current topic it seems is bustle.

The movie is truly fantastic! (And it`s an extended edition!) Anyone who liked the first two will literally tumble in like with this one! Procure out in this titillating conclusion to one of the world’s greatest film series! The only salubrious thing recently produced by the screwed-up Disney Channel! Yes I abhor Disney Channel, Hannah Montana, Cory in the House, Jonas Brothers, and all of the other gross teen shows they’ve decided to place on a children’s channel. But High School Musical is different. It teaches both kids and teens a notable lesson and it allows adults to revisit their past. The status is actually relevant to what many people feel and…it’s a teenage musical! You don’t gaze something like that everyday! Objective watching Troy and Gabriella get a heavenly waltz is reason enough to grasp this film. Also, the archaic fashioned music at the waste proves that rap, hip hop, and pop isn’t always what you’ll peer in a teenage film.

The songs are as fresh, catchy, and amazing as they are visually exquisite! During “Cry,” the turning walls that describe Troy’s confusion are spectacular! The disappearing pictures on the wall in Gabriella’s solo “Meander Away” were really quite dusky. The Statue of Liberty that shoots fireworks out of its head in “I Want It All” is extraordinary. The sets in “A Night To Remember” will leave you with your mouth wide inaugurate. “Fair Here Correct Now,” “Can I Have This Dance,” and “Fair Wanna Be With You” are three amazing romance songs. And, of course, Troy and Chad turning into itsy-bitsy boys in “The Boys Are Support” was really cute. That reminds, “Upright Here Correct Now” and “The Boys Are Aid” are so of my favorites because of what they talk about: not wanting to grow up. Anyway, n case you forgot or are too indolent to read the customer reviews for the HSM3 soundtrack, here are the songs:

1. “Now Or Never” – Troy and the Wildcats basketball team

2. “Upright Here, Lawful Now” – Troy and Gabriella

3. “I Want It All” – Sharpay and Ryan [A Moral BROADWAY SONG!]

4. “Can I Have This Dance? (Version I) ” – Troy and Gabriella

5. “A Night To Remember” – cast!

6. “Fair Wanna Be With You” – Ryan & Kelsi, Troy & Gabriella

7. “The Boys Are Encourage” – Troy and Chad

8. “Lag Away” – Gasbriella

9. “Bawl” – Troy

10. “Can I Have This Dance? (Version II) ” – Troy and Gabriella

11. “Senior Year Spring Musical” ***made up of reprises of NOW OR NEVER (Chad, the Wildcats basket team, cheerleaders), I WANT IT ALL (Ryan), Unprejudiced WANNA BE WITH YOU (Sharpay & Jimmy, and later Troy and Gabriella), and A Night To Remember (Sharpay vs. Tiara), as well as a original song: Last Chance (Ryan and Kelsi) ***

12. “We’re All In This Together” – cast!

13. “High School Musical” – cast!

14. “Objective Getting Started” – during the extinguish credits, winner of the Secure In The Portray ABC7 contest

By the diagram, during the “I Want It All,” you actually peek Gabriella The Maid a bit more than you did in the theaters because you stare that portion of the song in a different camera angle than you did in theaters. That also lets you scrutinize an important-looking lady giving Ryan a newspaper with him and Sharpay on the cloak. This is not due to the extended edition thing because the song is the same length, but, like I said, the camera angle is different so you view more things.

The special features on this Blu-ray are freakin’ chilly! Even though it’s a single disc release, it has the proper same snort found on the Two-Disc release, plus more! These are the Special Features (the last two aren’t found on the two-disc release) .

– Extended Version Of The Movie

– Optional Narrate Along Version

– Bloopers

– Deleted Scenes

– “Cast Goodbyes” feature

– “Night Of Nights” feature

– “It’s All In The Dress” feature

– “Senior Awards” feature

– Unusual Cast Profiles

In addition, honest like in the Two-Disc release, you can download a digital copy of the movie. And as if that weren’t enough, it comes with the first disc of the Two-Disc Edition!!!!! Now you can study the movie practically anywhere because you have the regular version as well as the Blu-ray version!!!! What do you know, it is a two disc after all. ^_^

An palatable, fun film courtesy of a bigger budget, better production, stage and lighting, this is the best “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” film of the three. The transfer on to Blu-ray is obliging in characterize and audio quality and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment really went all out with this “Deluxe Extended Edition” release.

With the previous two films debuting on the Disney Channel, “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR” was the first of the three films to go on the ample conceal and eventually having the largest opening weekend for a musical film ever earning $42 million in North America and $40 million overseas in its first three days of release. Opening at #1 and also having solid sales with its musical soundtrack.

One can say it’s the typical teenage angst that we saw from the first previous two films but what makes “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR” so considerable better is the higher production values. The film features one of the most ambitious sets, choreography, costume and stage designs, lighting and uses of color in a musical.

And because the higher production values, it definitely heightens the enjoyability of the film. From performances in the basketball court, outdoors at a college campus, a junkyard and more, the cinematography is really solid.

And of course, everything translates well on Blu-ray.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

“HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR” is featured in 1080p High Definition (1:85:1) and the relate quality is well-behaved. In one musical segment titled “I Want it All” featuring Sharpay and her twin brother Ryan Evans, I was fair amazed by the sudden shifts of color and how astounding it looked. The colors were unprejudiced vibrant and after watching the film on Blu-ray, I had to gawk how different the experience of watching it on Blu-ray versus DVD. The Blu-ray colors objective were fantastic and on DVD, it was friendly but not in the same vibrancy as the Blu-ray. This segment unbiased was a grand example of excellent sparkling choices on costume accomplish and position build and there are many instances that really stick out in the film. Even in the non-musical segments, the outdoor and indoor segments were gleaming and looked expansive on Blu-ray.

As for the audio, the audio quality is of course music-driven and music really comes alive with the English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. I did discover a few instances of rear channels being conventional during scenes with a lot of people but in most share, the film is dialogue and music driven and overall audio quality is also sizable.

So, narrate and audio quality for “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR” is improbable!

SPECIAL FEATURES:

And this is probably where Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment really went all out in this DELUXE EXTENDED EDITION release. You accept a total of three discs, the first being the Blu-ray which is the extended version of the movie, the second being the Digital Copy and the third being the DVD copy of the extended edition movie. Having not watched the normal theatrical version, I do know that the recent had 112 minutes and this extended version is 117 minutes long.

As for special features, this is where the Blu-ray shines. Included are:

* Senior Awards – The crew felt that with the talent graduating from “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL”, a yearbook was created with photos from reveal but also the cast having the ability to vote for “Best Dressed”, “Best Comedian”, “Best Couple”, etc.

* Disney Live Network – The ability to include your photos into the “EAST HIGH SCHOOL” yearbook ala BD-Live and more.

* Bloopers – These are not the same bloopers shown at the destroy credits, these are totally different.

The hidden claws can be found on the following pages and you can access the following Easter Eggs:Page 2 – Crazy improv segment

JUDGMENT CALL:

Overall, I was quite impressed with this Blu-ray disc releae of “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR”. On the extended version of the film, I was quite amazed by the production values from the stage, region and costume invent, the cinematography, the lighting and the Blu-ray disc transfer of the film and seeing how glorious and intelligent the recount quality was and how positive and live the music sounds, fans of the film and have a Blu-ray player are truly in for a treat.

And to celebrate the “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR”, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment included the extended version on DVD and a digital copy disc as well.

And the number of special features and Easter Eggs were also another determined of the Deluxe Extended Edition.

If you enjoyed the previous two “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” films, one thing you felt when watching those films are “Disney” musicals. Something you expected to glimpse on the Disney Channel. With “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR”, because of the high production value, the film really looked extremely well and after watching the special features, you learn that the cast really had to go all out in learning the choreography and with this film being the cast’s final film together, they went all out.

Now, how did I feel about the music in this film? I reflect with every “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” that I’ve watched, there were always numbers that I enjoyed and numbers that tend to stick in your mind. But I have to say that this third film, the music was quite solid. Also, I contemplate that the cast felt more at ease and were considerable more comfortable with their surroundings and were not as stiff in the choreography. The songs were sung well, the choreography was gigantic!

But thanks to the higher budget and better production quality, I maintain that director Kenny Ortega had mighty more freedom and again, with this being the final film for the main cast, everyone gave their best and it showed!

A astonishing Blu-ray release and a must-own for “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” fans!

The Man and the Monster is actually a really expedient classic dread film. Visually and stylistically it borrows from the elements of other Mexican panic classics such as The Vampire and Curse of the Crying Woman. Most of these classic Mexican dismay films were shot on the same sets however with each film the sets are manipulated and added to, subtracted from to originate it watch quite different and provide novel levels of atmosphere in each movie. The scenes shot in the Hacienda courtyard where Rambal’s frightening character lives are beautifully peaceful and deliciously lit. Director Baledon does a grand job directing this film. People who have seen this film agree the monster is not terribly “gross” and is more droll to study at then scary but for me it does not detract from what a valid film it really is. The film as a whole is quite an accomplishment with superior acting and incredible direction and photography. The film is pristine and probably even looks better then when people first saw it support in the 50s. The restoration on the DVD is absolutely perfect and on par with previous CasaNegra releases. A key feature of the DVD is a really wonderful Mexican Terror Poster slideshow situation to music from the film which I also view was really expansive.

For the most section, The Man and the Monster, released in the Mexico as “El hombre y el monstruo” is your average 1959 fear flick. It was filmed in the spanish language and then dubbed into english with careful attention paid to matching the dialouge with the actors lips. Unlike most other dubbed efforts, this one is very easy to behold without being distracted by the dubbing.

The film tells the base epic of a pianist who sells his soul to the devil to become the greatest pianist in the world, with one obtain – when he plays, he turns into what appears to be some type of monster/werewolf creature. The makeup effects for the monster are well done and noteworthy in alignment with what every other studio was doing at this time.

But what makes this flick really worthwhile is the above average cinematography, atmospheric lighting and the grand accumulate. A loyal nice achievement for the Mexico studio who build this together. makes one wonder what other south of the border classics are out there. It is truly a broad looking film with solid acting with an air of creepy alarm that is well sustained throughout the entire feature.

While not an all-time classic, Man and the Monster is very remarkable friendly entertainment with considerable command watchability for those who like the 50’s sci-fi/horror genre and also for those who devour immense dusky and white cinematography punctuated with film noir style lighting.
